ACCOMMODATION
Check-in and check-out times?
You can check in from 4:00 p.m.
Check-out is until 12:00 p.m.
Check-in time is at 4:00 p.m. because, since check-out is at 12:00 p.m., we need that time to clean and prepare the rooms or apartments. Therefore, 4:00 p.m. is the time at which we can guarantee everything will be ready for you.
If you arrive earlier and the room is available, we’ll be happy to check you in so you can access it.
What’s the difference between the hotel and the hostel? What types of rooms are there at Sub Up Hostel?
Sub Up is divided into two types of accommodation: the hotel and the hostel. Besides the letter “S”, there are a few more differences…
Both buildings are located within the same complex and share common areas such as the kitchen, lounge, outdoor showers, etc.
The main difference lies in the rooms:
In the hotel, there are double rooms and family rooms (double room with a sofa bed).
In the hostel, the rooms are multiple and private. You can come with friends or family, as you can choose between rooms for 3, 4, or 6 people, with either single beds or double beds.
How do I check in? Who needs to complete the check-in/registration?
Before you arrive, you can check in online through the Stay My Way app.
A few days before your arrival, you’ll receive an email with instructions on how to download it, and on the day of arrival we’ll send you a WhatsApp message with the link to the app.
In addition to completing the check-in, you can also access your room using your mobile phone. If you haven’t done the online registration, please stop by reception before entering the room and we’ll be happy to help you with it.
It’s important that ALL guests staying in the room register and fill in all their details. It’s not because we’re nosy or picky — it’s simply the law.
I would like an apartment, do you only have rooms?
Well, your wish is our command. Just 300 m from the hostel we have a building with beautiful and practical apartments. There are studios for up to 2 people and one-bedroom apartments for up to 4 people (with a sofa bed in the living room).
The complex has a swimming pool and underground parking — yes, parking is included in the rate.
Tempting, isn’t it?
If I travel alone, can I stay?
For those of you traveling solo, we offer double rooms for individual use.
Enjoy the comfort of having a room just for yourself.
Can I check in before the official check-in time?
If you want to check in before 1:00 p.m., contact reception one day before your arrival and we will inform you about the early check-in fee and whether it is possible.
If I arrive before check-in time or want to stay after check-out, where can I leave my luggage?
If you arrive before 4:00 p.m. and your room isn’t ready yet, you can leave your luggage in the storage area—just let reception know.
And if you leave your room on departure day but want to stay around for a while, tell us and we’ll store your bags until you leave.
In both cases, you can use the facilities freely: you can use the kitchen, park your car, or take a shower in one of the outdoor showers.
Make yourself at home.
Is late check-out available?
If you’re not ready to head home and want to leave after 12:00 p.m., we have the solution: request a late check-out.
Ask for it at reception at least one day before your departure date, and we’ll inform you about the options, rates, and availability.
Can I cancel my reservation?
Yes, of course. You can cancel as long as you comply with the cancellation terms, which depend on the rate type and the season of your stay.
Can I book a bed in a shared room?
Shared rooms are occupied by people on the same reservation, such as a family or a group of friends.
If you are traveling alone, you can book a double room for individual use, where you will rest without any roommates.
How can I contact you to make a private reservation or book accommodation, meals, and/or group activities?
We are available for any inquiries via WhatsApp or at +34968563040 (yes, even though it’s a landline, it works). You can also call us at the same number or email us at reservas@subuphotel.com
And of course, you can visit our websites: www.subuphostel.com or

SERVICES
Is there parking?
At the hostel, we have a small free outdoor parking area with space for about 6–8 cars. When it’s full, you’ll need to park on nearby streets. You can almost always find a spot, although it’s a bit more difficult in summer.
This parking area also has a charger for electric cars.
At the apartments, there is indoor parking included in the price, and each apartment has one reserved space.
Can we bring our dog?
Of course! We love having your canine companions with us. Buuut, to ensure they also feel comfortable at Sub Up, there’s one condition: they cannot be left alone in the room. If you can’t meet this requirement, we recommend not bringing them.
Don’t forget to check with reception about the extra fee and the conditions.
Is there a coffee maker and fridge in the room?
At the hostel, we have a shared kitchen for all guests. In the kitchen, you’ll find refrigerators, coffee makers, and utensils.
If you use the shared kitchen, reception will provide you with a box labeled with your room number, where you can store your food to keep the refrigerators organized.
All apartments come with a fridge and an Italian coffee maker, as well as a washing machine, dishwasher, toaster, cooking utensils, iron, etc. If you can’t find something, just ask us.
Are there towels and a bathroom in the rooms?
What kind of question is that? Of course! Each person gets one set of towels in the room, and every room has a full bathroom. You’ll sleep like a baby on an amazing mattress—lounge as much as you want under the sheets and the duvet (if you need it).
Is there room cleaning at Sub Up?
At the hotel, there is daily cleaning. Beds are made, bathrooms are cleaned, etc. Please note that if you leave items or clothes on the beds, cleaning cannot be done, so we ask that you keep the rooms tidy.
At the hostel, the room is completely clean upon arrival. However, daily cleaning does not include making the beds, but the floors are swept and the trash is collected.
In the apartments, cleaning and linen/towel changes are done every 5 days, and only for stays longer than 7 nights.
If you need any cleaning or a change of bed linen or towels, please ask at reception. Please also ask us if you need extra cleaning or towels.
